Hope International Hospital
Building Hope. Providing Care. Saving Lives.
For more than 13 years, Asking for the Nations has partnered with Giving Hope for Tomorrow to provide free medical clinics in Tanzania. Through these outreaches, we have seen thousands of people seek care, and we have witnessed lives changed and even saved simply because medical treatment became accessible.
But we have also seen the reality families face every day when quality healthcare is too far away, unavailable, or beyond what they can afford.
We knew an annual clinic was not enough.
Out of that need, the vision for Hope International Hospital was born.
Our vision is to establish a Christ-centered medical campus where people can receive quality, compassionate, and accessible healthcare, regardless of their economic status, tribe, or background. We want every person who enters our doors to be treated with dignity, excellence, kindness, and the love of Christ.
The Vision Is Becoming a Reality
Construction is already underway on our first approximately 11,000-square-foot medical facility, and we have invested approximately $150,000 into construction to date.
As we have moved forward, the vision has continued to grow.
Recently, we purchased an additional acre of land adjacent to our existing hospital property. At the time, we knew the land would be important for the future expansion of Hope International Hospital. We simply did not know how quickly it would be needed.
Following a meeting with the Ministry of Health, we learned that two services originally planned within our main hospital building would require additional dedicated facilities in order to meet current standards.
As a result, two additional building plans have now been drafted and officially approved:
A dedicated Labor & Delivery Ward
and
A dedicated Radiology Center
What an incredible reminder that God sees what we cannot see.
The land we believed we were purchasing for “someday” has now become part of the immediate vision for Hope International Hospital.

Caring for Mothers and Babies
The addition of a dedicated Labor & Delivery Ward is truly an answer to prayer.
We have seen the tremendous need in our community for quality medical care for mothers and their babies. Our desire is to create a place where women can safely deliver their children, complications can be recognized and treated, and mothers and newborns can receive compassionate care during some of life's most important and vulnerable moments.
We want to see healthy mothers, healthy babies, healthy families, and new life bringing hope to our community.
Bringing Better Diagnostics Closer to Home
The new Radiology Center will expand our ability to provide essential diagnostic services locally.
Too often, patients struggle to receive a proper diagnosis because the necessary equipment, specialists, or services are not readily accessible. Expanding diagnostic capabilities will help medical professionals identify problems earlier and provide patients with the answers and treatment they need.
Together with the main hospital facility, Labor & Delivery Ward, and future emergency and specialty services, these additions are helping transform Hope International Hospital from a single building into a comprehensive medical campus.
The Next Phase: A $1.5 Million Vision
The expanded vision also means expanded construction, equipment, infrastructure, staffing, and operational needs.
We estimate the complete project will require approximately $1.5 million.

Our vision has never simply been to construct buildings.

A place where someone who has been searching for answers can finally receive a diagnosis.
A place where a person's financial situation or background does not determine whether they are treated with dignity.
A place where medical professionals can serve with excellence and compassion.
And above all, a place where people can experience the love and hope of Christ through the care they receive.
There is still much ahead—more construction, more equipment, more staff, and more resources. But every step brings us closer to opening the doors.
